My name is Michel Esther and I study English at the study centre of Manchester. Although Old Trafford and Man City stadiums are nearby a Liverpool Fan visiting Anfield and watching Liverpool play is a childhood dream. But due to expensive tour prices and timing issues, I couldn't make the dream come true. I have been waiting for an opportunity to make this dream come true. Finally, an old uncle made a visit to the UK as he is himself an old Liverpool fan. In fact, I inherited the love of Liverpool from the man himself as I remember we used to chant “you will never walk alone” together. So it was time to realize my childhood dream we made the plan to go there together.

As a friend suggested to Hire company for my trip as their costs are very reasonable and services are very comfortable. So after landing the driver was there with our name tags in his hands to pick us up. From there we reached the stadium very comfortably as it was a match day so there was a rush around the stadium but the driver carefully managed to take us there at the time.

Seeing Anfield from the outside was giving me goosebumps I couldn't imagine myself after entering the stadium.

How the Anfield experience was like?

We walked to the main entrance at Anfield to snap some photos on the famous gate “You Will Never Walk Alone”, the Shankly Statue and pay tribute to the Hillsborough victims. Then, along Anfield Road and pass by all the famous points and murals. We also Checked out Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold and Henderson’s mural on the side of a building on Sybil Road. A gigantic photo with the quote “I’m just a normal lad from Liverpool whose dream has just come true”.

After that, it was time for a pre-match experience. A local guide took us to The Sandon, a pub full of Liverpool supporters and the best place for some good pints. Take some time to chat with local fans and listen to their stories about the club. It was a great experience to meet so many local fans and share with them great memories of so many great matches in Liverpool history.

Once we are bumped up for the match, we were escorted safely to our seats and made sure we arrived there on time to listen to the famous “You Will Never Walk Alone” chant! Don’t miss this out for anything because a full Anfield house singing this with the same passion is a feeling that only a true football fan can relate to.

It whole experience was like an exotic feeling to me. I was imagining so many great Liverpool players practising and playing on the same pitch that was in front of me.

To make this experience great Liverpool won the match and was toping the league charts.

After the match, we went to some recommended places to have a good dinner in Liverpool.

After that, we said goodbye to Liverpool and called for company cab. It was as usual on time.
